KC makes this trade to acquire Soderstrom who is exactly the  kind of player we?ve been looking to rebuild around. I believe he?ll likely play first base so that mitigates the loss of Aranda. Jeremiah Jackson is another strong infield prospect that fits the mold of what we?ve been pursuing as of late.Samad Taylor projects to fill a utility role similar to Chris Taylor. Clearing the cap space involved is a bonus as we continue to clear our books. Pleasure doing business with LAA

Angels confirm. Taylor isn?t the starting 3B I was looking for but will do until the trade deadline. Hopefully he can be a nice utility guy after I acquire one later. Springs and Flexen may end up being a lot of money for very little production but I?m hoping Flexen rebounds from last years disaster to provide some value and if Springs can return by August he may give me a month or two of value just in time for playoffs. It?s a gamble. Aranda makes all this salary and risk more palatable. Especially with giving up Soderstrom. I think he?ll be good but Angels are pretty good with catcher depth and Aranda helps with 1B depth so feel comfortable giving him up. Thanks to Royals for quick back and forth and pleasant dealings working this one out
