Trade between Ottawa and LA

The new Ottawa Senators management strike another deal. The rebuilding and youth movement takes us to the West Coast and we move a couple of veteran Centres in exchange for some bodies on the Blueline! Fisher is a great all-around player for a playoff bound team while Peverley and the Bruins are always a safe bet to add points to your team every week. My Senators add a big contract in Dion but the rejuvenated Leafs might just make this deal worthwhile. The prospect and the pick soften the blow for letting Fisha and Pev go.

Great pick for the re-build in OTT. Phaneuf is a solid fantasy defensemen along with up and coming Teubert as well as a 1st round pick. Fisher and Peverley good assets but like the OTT side here

i say Kings win by off-loading a huge salary (yes, phaneuf is good but not "chara-good") and they get 2 very productive players that will contribute immediately.

if you look at the fantasy points exchanged here, it's really phaneuf for fisher and peverley for some potential down-the-road which usually doesnt pan-out as often as ppl think.
