Toronto Trades:

Nikita Zaitsev, $0.5m (2018-19)
Jonathan Toews, $7.3m (2017-18) - Highest Rk in  16-17 (C - 36th) = $2.7m (2019-2020)


Brown had a huge year and is nice for our scoring system, but because of this at minimum he will cost  5.5m to extend next year and not sure I could afford it, so I'll rather take Toews who I like more anyway. Zaitsev is also a good depth Dman.

I like Brown dual position and I hope he will produce next year like he did in 17-18. I have included Zaitsev as I have already a young D-Man from Toronto (Dermott).

Myers is a promising young defenceman who might make team next year.

Toews is a good player but I have a lot of centers on my team.

Good trade for both teams. Prefer Chicago's return contractually, but Brown could be a difference maker come the play-offs!
