Colorado has a $4m Buyout on Matt Martin from 17/18. Is it a good assumption that if Colorado wins a FA bid on Matt Martin that we would be able to take a discount on a portion of his buyout figure?

A new season makes Colorado a new team and fantasy Matt Martin shouldn’t be eligible for double earnings.

Yes, Avs can bid on Martin (and if COL wins, you can claim a discount) given he was Bought Out last yr and this is a whole new season. :judge:

When is the official deadline for our transaction freeze this year? A week before the season starts puts us at September 25th give or take a day.

Just want to be sure of the actual date.
