Blue Jackets suddenly in Rebuilding Mode

I find myself a little shocked my Blue Jackets start the year 0-20 and sitting last overall after 5 weeks.
We're suddenly thrown into rebuilding mode.
What happened?

Maybe I took the team for granted but crap we've been Top 10 since I took over the team January 2014  :winner:
2015-16 - 6th Overall
2014-15 - 8th Overall
2013-14 - 9th Overall
2012-13 - 24th (Not my team that year)
2011-12 - 20th (Not my team that year)

Still in shock man!
But we're not going to take this laying down.
We'll be busy rebuilding.  :toast:

Another thing working against my Jackets so far, teams are scoring some of their biggest weeks against Columbus. We're #1 in Point Against. Crazy!

Also should throw in that the schedule tweak affects team way more now. A bad week is now 0-4 and can easily dig a big hole. My Oilers squad had no goalie starts for two weeks, yet went 6-2. Last week I finally had a goalie start and a damn good one (10.5) and went 0-4. 0-20 isn't even as big of a hole as it looks, but that depends on the division. Look at that pacific, where Arizona and Edmonton will be fighting for that #2 spot and a playoff berth. Currently both are around .500, but the drop off is currently huge (4-16). I am trading for future assets here in Edmonton, as we are not celebrating a playoff berth with no chance at the big prize. We will continue to build to fight for a title. No participation trophies here.  :thumbsup:

OK sound the alarm. HAHA

But like your said PPG, you faced all the high scoring teams. If you waited you might've discovered the schedule going your team's way with more favorable matchups against weaker teams especially from the Pacific.

But it looks like you've gone with a rebuild so have fun buddy! :toast:

:iatp: Makes good sense. If the core of the Jackets remained intact there was no reason to believe the W's wont have started piling up.

0-20 is a tough pill and this is fantasy hky and theres no need to just sit around waiting for things to happen. More to fun to get active rebuilding a roster.

After 3 yrs it was time to retool the roster. Way too many players that bleed Black and Orange.
Sometimes you need to introduce and enema and clean house, start fresh.
