I think another possible enhancement to the process for next year is something similar to what happens in most online draft rooms these days - if you miss your pick, you're automatically switched to auto-draft.  If you come back and say you're here now, you'll make your next pick then fine, but otherwise we're not stuck waiting the entire window for each of your picks.

I think we could put that idea in to play for this year after the first round.  A PM can be sent around to the entire league giving it several days to take place (next weekend).  Teams would be marked auto-draft via post in the league.  This excludes teams who did not submit proxy lists.

Sounds good to me - while I usually have strong objections to new rules going into place right away, I'm personally ok with procedural changes taking effect immediately.

Nice run of picks today, this looks to be moving at a solid pace now.

Kansas City is on the clock, with pick 1-29.

Ben, do you think you could compile a simple list of the BA top overall remaining players that excludes players that did not sign?

Ben, nice pick of Jedd Gyorko... one of my favorite players in the draft, but I couldn't stomach cutting two prospects on my 40-man to make room for his bonus.
