Good point, I was looking at total points scored.   We don't have this in the rules, but the tiebreaker in MLB is H2H.

It's too bad total points don't count as the tiebreaker.  Even with all the season-ending injuries, the Cardinals still have the 5th highest points scored and the 2nd highest points scored against.

That's the great thing about baseball... the quality of the teams making the post-season can never be argued like that of the NBA or NHL.  Unfortunately for the two of you, only one of your teams will advance.  Some quality teams in the AL are going to miss out such as the Red Sox, Angels, White Sox, and either the Tigers or Indians.

All i can say is the playoffs are gona be tight. and this league is pretty awesome........Dan you need to have a players only meeting and tell your boys to step it up this weekend, if you want in the playoffs. What a run by the stros, that was a impressive way to close the season........As you can see the Nats and Mets are playing golf this week instead of baseball....sorry jake and greene, i had to say something. best of luck everyone

how can we do H2H? Its not like we are playing our division rivals 15 times. We are playing them once. This is fantasy baseball not real life. (I know we are trying to simulate MLB, but the number of games isnt here) If you have more points you are the team that should get in. It would be so much different if we played a MLB season length.

i beg to differ. we play 22 games of head to head fantasy. Thats alot. I think head to head is how it should be. i like that idea.

This wasn't actually in the rules, so the story of the league is that we always defer to what happens in MLB.  Twenty-two weeks of H2H matchups has provided one to two matches against division rivals.

yeah but one game was played against division teams.  In the MLB they play 15 games or something like that, we dont! And the season is reflicted off one game if its a tie breaker? So points dont mean nothing. I thought this was fantasy baseball? So why even play fantasy then. I know its a 22 game season, but we dont have 165 games.
