I didn't really have time to offer some plaudits to and for their playoff quests. As I have mentioned before, has had a tremendous season under some trying circumstances. In the end, injuries were their doom, but those injuries do not take away from the adept managing of the GM, soonerorlitigator. Travis has quietly assembled quite a roster and is set to compete for years to come and is a model for others in the league to follow. , on the other hand, has had a bit of a storybook journey. Many times, when a GM suddenly leaves in midseason, as ldsjayhawk did, the team goes to through a period of decline as the new GM, when one is found, tries to regroup and figure out the best way to proceed. However, FGM was fortunate to have Jonathan (jblum) return to the league and take over the franchise. Through his aggressive managing, the upended the and to get to the ALCS. My congratulations to both of these GMs for their yeomen efforts to reach the Championship Series in their respective leagues. They are both fine competitors and deserve all the accolades from the league for their work as fantasy baseball GMs.
Good luck to the Angels in the championship! It should be a great matchup!
Angels are destroying me! Congrats to the Angels!! Great team and a well deserved championship!!
