I didn't really have time to offer some plaudits to :SEA: and :MIL: for their playoff quests.

As I have mentioned before, :MIL: has had a tremendous season under some trying circumstances.  In the end, injuries were their doom, but those injuries do not take away from the adept managing of the :MIL: GM, soonerorlitigator.  Travis has quietly assembled quite a roster and is set to compete for years to come and is a model for others in the league to follow.

:SEA:, on the other hand, has had a bit of a storybook journey.  Many times, when a GM suddenly leaves in midseason, as ldsjayhawk did, the team goes to through a period of decline as the new GM, when one is found, tries to regroup and figure out the best way to proceed.  However, FGM was fortunate to have Jonathan (jblum) return to the league and take over the :SEA: franchise.  Through his aggressive managing, the :SEA: upended the :NYY: and :TB: to get to the ALCS.

My congratulations to both of these GMs for their yeomen efforts to reach the Championship Series in their respective leagues.  They are both fine competitors and deserve all the accolades from the league for their work as fantasy baseball GMs.

Well said Flash and definitely agree!!!  :toast:

Good luck to the Angels in the championship!  It should be a great matchup!   :win:

You too, Philly!  We came out of the blocks last night with a good start, but this is a marathon.  Here's to a great WS!

My team picked a great week to tank. I put up 2200 last week and nothing this week. Unbelievable. Angels may run away with it.

On a Friday night in Philadelphia, we find the Phillies with 1095.17 points.

Meanwhile, in sunny California, the Angels have 1267.74 points.

Yet, we all know there are nine days to go in their two week matchup, so neither team will concede one way or another.  There’s a lot of baseball to be played, so it will be interesting to see how it all turns out.

Glad to see the Angels, my former team in the Championship Series.  That rebuild I started in 2013 still has some of those pieces on it from when I retired as GM after the 2015 season.

Fat lady hasn't sung yet.  Your line up still makes me nervous...even with a few injuries.  lol

The song is in the air—methinks I can hear the “fat lady” starting to sing “We Are The Champions” in the distance.
