Minor League affiliates

How we will be scoring minor league teams?  Will it based on a rating system or will it use their actual MiLB stats?

I had not planned on scoring minor league teams, but I'm open to the idea of it if anybody has any suggestions. My original plan was just to use the minor league system as a "holding area" until they become major leaguers.

I'll think about it over this weekend, but if anybody else has any ideas to throw out there in the meanwhile, I'm all ears.

So far I've only found one site that scores minor league baseball players for fantasy baseball (and it claims it's the only one). It does not allow people to create their own leagues though.

We may be able to have something like that on ProFSL next year, but I have to see how much the data will cost.

What do you mean by that? Is there a place that will score leagues for you? Or compile stats over a given period?

Right now the only site I see is Box Minors. Besides that its the old fashioned way - box scores.

ProFSL is due to have its own scoring service this fall.  ProFSL will have to pay extra for minor league data, but it is worth exploring after the service is setup.

Keep me in the loop on that. If it looks like something I can implement here and my professiomal future looks secure, I could chip in some money if ProFSL is on the fence about it.

Does anybody else have any interest in scoring minor leagues? Of course, since players are in all different leagues and different levels, it's difficult to truly tell which system is better than the rest. However, I feel it would add a uniqueness to this league if we decide to pursue it in the future.
