Well I hope 2012 isn't real so that maybe someday I can have a winning club.  But in all honesty, I watch my scores daily and if the schedule was more like Jon's are, with 3-4 day periods, I would be a lot closer to .500.  I have good breaks the first 3-4 days.  Oh well.  Go Nats!!  :thumbsup:

It looks like :PIT: is going 8-0 this week taking four against Milwaukee who is also losing to St. Louis.

Only 3 against us, but yeah losing to Stl and LAD means it should be a tie atop the NL West going into next week, with Stl holding the division games lead (not sure on head-to-head, probably close).

The club also placed right-hander Michael Grove on the 15-day injured list due to lat tightness. In corresponding moves, the club has recalled right-hander J.P. Feyereisen and selected the contract of right-hander Michael Petersen. To make room for Petersen on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred right-hander Joe Kelly to the 60-day injured list.

  • indiansnation: Mookie Betts was hit on the left hand by a Dan Altavilla fastball today, causing Betts to drop to the ground in immediate pain and then leave the game.  Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters (including Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times) after the game that Betts has a fractured bone in the hand and will be out of action “for some time,” though the former AL MVP won’t require surgery.
