It looks like the Pirates may finish with a banner 8-0 week.  The opponents are a bit weaker, but those are the games my team has to win.

Big movers this week: Jays and Astros fall, Royals and Twins rise... I think we are going to have a lot of competition this year.   I include the Reds because they can make a turn-around.  The Diamondbacks deserve credit with a winning record, but the NL Wildcard is going to go to a team with a lot of wins.  The NL East and AL West feature only two teams each that can win those divisions.  The Mets, Marlins, Nats, Mariners, and Angels don't even deserve consideration.

NL West
4) :COL: - (28-4) [88.53%/A-/B] - Rockies slip but Dodgers fall in NL West standings (-1)
2) :LAD: - (25-7) [90.57%/A-/A-] - Too early, but currently one behind wildcard leader ATL
21) :ARZ: - (17-15) [74.00%/C/C] - Ellsbury, Fuld step in to mix (1)

NL Central
5) :MIL: - (23-9) [87.27%/B+/B] - Brewers stay with the Cardinals by winning 8 straight
7) :STL: - (23-9) [86.47%/B-/A-] - Cards lose within the division
12) :PIT: - (20-12) [82.66%/B/C] - Pirates win the games they are supposed to win
16) :HOU: - (20-12) [80.70%/B-/C+] - Pitching is weaker than I once thought (-5)
20) :CIN: - (4-28) [75.57%/C/C] - This couldn't have been a worse start for the Reds (-1)

NL East
1) :PHI: - (29-3) [92.07%/B/A] -
8) :ATL: - (26-6) [85.27%/B/B] - Keeping up with the Phils

AL West

11) :TEX: - (22-10) [82.96%/B/C+] - Rangers are proving they can hang with Oakland (-1)

AL Central

14 Baseball America top 100 prospects, 16 Baseball Prospectus top 100 prospects, only lost to the star studded Rockies by about 260 pts. last week.....yeah, Nats truly have nothing.

Jake? Defensive?  :taco:

Is it just me, or does the NL look to be twice as good as the AL?

Jake actually asked me to put him at #30... and when I do these rankings; I am only ranking the MLB squad.

Yes, the NL has twice the amount of good teams that the AL has.

It's just you Aubrey

A 12 pack of domestic says the champ will come from the AL...I'm talking out of my arse right now, but isn't that half the fun of fantasy sports?   :toast:

Nats have a great front office...Rumor is the GM has a "thing" for his players' mothers, but otherwise runs a fine operation!

Love ya Jake!
