I saw that the Uggla trade was confirmed, even tough he wasn't placed in my rosters yet... So I believe there'll be no problem moving him, right?

My reason for this trade are simple: I'm getting one of the best pitchers in baseball... In a league that 5 SP are needed, having one of the best is always a great thing...

In between I had the chance of getting 3 young players without having to compete on the open market... Mills is an interesting prospect in a rebulding franchise... Fuld looks like a player that can play in Chicago, specially since Bradley was traded.. And Sanchez is a bit older prospect, that lost some time thanks to Tommy John surgery, but I believe he might be worth the shot...

The price seems right for me... Scherzer is a great young pitcher that can stay with the Jays for years, but replacing him with Halladay is not a problem at all... Uggla is one of the premier power 2B in the game, but I still have Ellis and Lopez to hold the position if I don't get any free agent help...

That's it... Uggla didn't had the time to get his locker room with the D'Backs and he's moving again haha

I agree to this. Halladay was going to become very expensive after this season, so I thought I'd capitalize on his value sooner rather than later.

Scherzer is a personal favorite and the perfect cheap replacement I needed. Uggla should help me fill the gaping hole in my MI and Bloomquist and Ojeda give my lineup some much needed depth.

 Now the Jays are finally ready for the start of FA.

Luckily, Roy can't veto this trade lol. He's not very fond of west coast teams.

You talked about payroll, I forgot to mention it... My payroll after the trade is going to raise only 2.5mi.... And that's with the 3 prospects 1.5mi contract included... If my numbers are not wrong, my payroll will stand at 60mi for this season, with 20mi left for the FA and bonuses to be paid in the draft at mid-season...

And with Brynes 10mi comming of the books next year, I'll have enought money to give Halladay an extension after the season... With that, I'll have him, Big-Z and Ubaldo locked up until at least 2012... A nice trio to start my rotation

Oh, just adding one thing... Fuld reached 50 games played in his career last year, so he's no longer at a prospect contract... I believe now his contract should go until 2012, right?

Chad, you are a reserve.  Rick voted, Daniel is involved, and Jon is the other one.  I personally know that Jon is pretty busy right now, so Chad's vote should count.
