The Padres agree to these terms because Jurrjens offers an extra year of club control at a cheap contract, something the Friars desperately need.  I threw in the pick to sweeten the pot.

I will only own Morrow in this scoring format.  The K's are intruiging.  The portenrtail is there.  I am also worried about Jurrjens.  He is a good SP in real life, but the shoulder injury and hamstring injury have him. Off this year.  He is not getting GBs or Ks.  I also think the Braves will take their time bringing him Back.  Getting rid of Anderson was an added bonus.

This is a smart move for the Padres.  Morrow is going to be expensive as of this year, and he still qualifies at both RP and SP making him even more of a cost when it comes to contract negotiations.
