Pirates extend Wieters
« on: October 15, 2011, 01:40:11 PM »
Wieters' best C-ranking was 10th this year.  His prospect contract expires this year and he would be paid $4m on a regular contract.  We are going to use the prospect extension to have it kick in 2013 and last for five years at $4m/year.

C Wieters, Matt, $0.5m (P-2012)

-->

$4m from 2013 to 2017
