RE-DRAFT - 2011 FNHL DRAFT: Sept 15, 2018

[Mordecai]

7. :MON-NHL: - Mika Zibanejad (old pick 2011) - Mark Scheifele (new pick 2018)

Going with the bigger surprise of the 2011 draft in Scheifele over Vincent Trocheck. Both great players.

Given Ducks took Mark with the 5th overall pick. So we'll go with your 2nd choice Vincent.

5. :ANA: FNHL pick - Mark Scheifele - FNHL 1/10; NHL 1/7 (Ryan Strome)
6. :SJ: - Dougie Hamilton - FNHL 1/8; NHL 1/9 (Adam Larsson)

8. :DAL-NHL: (from :OTT:, :EDM:) - Gabriel Landeskog - FNHL 1/3; NHL 1/2 (Dougie Hamilton)
9. :OTT: (from :DAL-NHL:; :WIN:) - (Ryan Murphy)   OTC

[EndGame]

9. :OTT: (from :DAL-NHL:; :WIN:) - Ryan Murphy

We'll take Ryan Nugent-Hopkins because he's a damn good pick at #9!!!!
Oh man, was Ryan Murphy such a poor choice in hindsight.
I have a general rule of thumb for NHL drafts, avoid picking anyone with the name "Murphy". You can likely claim them off waivers or sign them as a Free Agent at some point.

10. :NJD:  OTC

[AntMan]

Rickard Rakell - Devils

[Godzilla]

11. :LAK: LA - Sven Baertschi was drafted in 2011. In the redraft, :LAK: takes Brandon Saad

Doesn't look like Buffalo gets to pick until the back-half of the 2nd Rd. That might take a few months to get to. Just saying.
