RE-DRAFT - 2011 FNHL DRAFT: Sept 15, 2018

[PsychoticPondGoons]

:TBL: still OTC

17. :TBL: will auto-pick Boone Jenner taken 2/37 by the NHL Jackets in 2011. FNHL Tampa originally took Matt Puempel. Ouch!
18. :COL-NHL: OTC
19. :PIT-NHL: OD
20. :CLS: ITH

FNHL Tampa originally took Matt Puempel. Ouch!

I remember Puempel badmouthed the Sens on his way out of Ottawa heading towards the Rangers. Where is Puempel nowadays? He had some decent upside as a junior player.

AHL fodder. Puempel has passed through the watchful gaze of 5-6 different NHL coaching staffs and hasn't impressed any of them to stick around the NHL. What does that tell us all?!!

:iatp: Couldn't agree more. The truth is attitude counts for a lot in pro sports and no team wants a player who's going to bad mouth an organization or the league. Best to bury those types in the minors.

Jordan Binnington for Colorado

[PsychoticPondGoons]

18. :COL-NHL: G - Jordan Binnington taken 3/88 by the NHL Blues in 2011. FNHL Colorado originally took a great skater, J.T. Miller.

ROUND 2
2. :OTT: Ottawa - Vladimir Namestnikov

If I am not mistaken, I submitted that Round 2 selection on behalf of Ottawa. The 2011 entry draft seems like a lifetime ago.

I think Pens are deep in thought and might've fallen asleep. Time to hit the auto pilot button that :PIT-NHL: pick at #19.

[TheBeef]

Pens are busy contending. They have no use for what could've been. They're living in the here and now brother. :toast:
