:PHI: gets
OF Revere, Ben, $2.5m (2016)

:PIT: gets
MI Profar, Jurickson, $0.5m (P-2016)
CI Dixon, Brandon, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Phillies do this deal to get a good cheap depth player in our OF. I like Profar but with Rosario and Crawford in the minors he was expendable.

Thanks Colby for the negotiations! :toast:

Pirates accept.

Upon this deal, the Pirates will give Profar a two-year extension which kicks in after his prospect contract ends. That would make him a $500k (2018) player I believe.

Revere is a legit top 20-25 outfielder in our format with his new team. However, he is in a contract year and I need to focus on a long term future. Profar was once the #1 prospect in baseball but now has a questionable shoulder that forced him to miss almost two years. I am actually low on Profar's future and papps will attest to how this deal was like pulling teeth. It's a gamble for sure, but the more gambles I take on top specs, the more that will turn out gold.
