Buyers & Sellers

Phillies are always buyers

[Colby]

Colby, do we tell you whether we want to be a buyer or seller, or do you just determine that on your own?

It was my determination.  Jake, you could easily be one of the selling teams that looks to buy big-market salary dumps or poor team's larger contracts on the cheap.

the yanks are in big time buying mode we want a championship my first year

The Arizona Diamondbacks are in the market as buyers or sellers depending on the teams needs and vision

More than likely a buyer. Depends on whether I get my whole team healthy or not

I guess in some managers eyes I would be a seller but I don't think ppl who are in my position have their best 4 players all 25 or under. It will take a "good" offer to get (McCann, King Felix, Cargo, or Pineda). I can't see any other team with that strong of young "proven" players. I also have a top 5 minor league roster. So y sell for someone old when I can wait 1 or two yrs and contend/potentially win? Just my thought on it.

McCann is 27 and CarGo is almost 26...

Jason Heyward (21), Hank Conger (22), Jaime Garcia (24), & Tommy Hanson (24).
