Old Trading Blocks

[Needle Juice]

Currently not shopping anyone.  I am in need of a major league SP, but only really shopping draft picks.  If you have interest in anyone, just ask and I will let you know where I stand.

Thanks

P Buchholz, Taylor, $0.5m (2011)

Anyone in need of an additional RP for the strecth run.  I have extras with the signing of Parnell and Sanabia.

Buchholz has a good track record and is working on rehab now.  He will be back with COL in the 2nd half.  Good K/9 guy.  He is available for a 10th round draft pick.  Just want to get one more pick to complete my EDR roster.  PM me if interested.

[Needle Juice]

Buchholz was sent to the Cubbies.

Not looking to trade right now unless it is near free because I have little to give up and no cap room

[bravesfan4]

I am on probation, so any deal we agree too, we cannot complete until July 20th. but I am trying to lock up a move or two. The following are on the trade block.

Aaron Hill
Mark Buehrle
John Lackey
AJ Burnett

Im looking to acquire a CI and yes I will willing to eat some salary on certain contracts.

[Needle Juice]

OF Hawpe, Brad, $6m (2011) is on the block.  I am not necessarily going to move him, he has a great contract for the OBP production.

I am looking for young offensive talent at the major league level.  Please PM me with offers.

Last year, over the off season teams traded for a player that was already signed to a new deal and then signed them to a new deal when they came over. Maybe for more years, or less years. I believe once a player signs a deal, the deal cant be worked to shorter years, or make it a longer deal. This is unrealistic and would never happen in MLB. What you guys think?

That never happened last year.  Player's rights can be traded just like in the majors with the expectation they sign a deal with the new team.
