Looking for good backup CI/UT and/or prospects

[kungfuwig]

Royals are looking to acquire a fairly cheap SP with Tim Hudson going down. I would prefer someone with a contract expiring after this year. Not looking for a huge deal.

[shooter47]

Orioles are looking to move the following players:

CI Berkman, Lance, $12m (2013)
SP Petitte, Andy, $4m (2013)

Berkman is currently hurt but is close to being back. Could help a team on a run to the playoffs in August. Petitte is pitching pretty good and would be a good pickup to provide a boost to a contenders rotation heading into the playoffs. Not going to be resigning these guys and they are on expiring contracts so they will move.

[28]

Got some guys who can help team on playoff run
CI Chavez, Eric, $1.5m (2013)
CI Overbay, Lyle, $0.5m (2013)
OF Mclouth, Nate, $2.5m (2013)

All have cheap expiring contracts. Mclouth is the 21 top OF so can really help your team. Chavez and Overbay are top 60 CI who are good back ups. Just want some quality prospects for them.

P Harang, Aaron, $5.5m (2014) $1.5m  paid each year
RP Hefner, Jeremy, $0.5m (2013)

Both are 40 points per game starters and Hefner can be used as a reliever.

CI Polanco, Placido, $1m (2014)
MI-CI Keppinger, Jeff, $0.5m (2013)
OF Dyson, Jarrod, $1m (2013)
OF Pierre, Juan, $3m (2013)

All can be had for cheap and can add good depth for a team.
