3 things:
1) i
left this thread open to allow other teams to comment on it.
traditionally, calling out another GM/team/player is
at the discretion of the commissioner and usually for inappropriate behavior / actions
(mind you, if the commish does something inappropriate, it is the job of the GMs to state it ideally privately, then if needed publically).
in this case, the original post disclosing a PM'ed trade offer was submitted by an ex-commissioner. with 30-teams, i felt it was important to allow ppl a chance to have their say and i'm glad ppl have been consistent with the message that should be communicated here:
it's un-professional to post a trade offer or negotiate in public.
2) however, i will also say
let's keep emotions in-check and not start slandering someone for out'ing another GMs perceived "bad" offer, because that's also not professional conduct either.
3) from a
perspective, the trade offer by
was understandable given
's earlier posts RE having very little cap space to work with and cap space in a cap league is an asset.
was offering $7.0m in cap space to
- a significant amount of cap to be relieved of.
thanks all!
