Rockies accept this trade and love what they are getting in return with Aoki and all the nice prospects getting back. We do give up Zimmerman who is in a slump and cant stay healthy and his cap to free up space for next year free agancy. The specs are just fillings to make the trade even numbered.Im hoping these specs I get in return will play a factor next year and get called up late this year or make the team next year.Great dealing with you LAD

Not a big fan of this deal.  I like Hutchinson and Adam a lot, plus $ on Zimmerman.

Skaggs is top notch, Williams and Aguliar are good and Aoki is cheap filler. 

Just seems like there is too much headed to LAD.  Just my opinion.

Aoki to me is not a filler. He has over a 1000 points despite only earning the starting job in the last month. His points per AB (looking at per AB rather than per game because he did not have a starting job to begin the yera) is 5.51 which is higher than Victorino (4.85), Swisher (4.85), Ethier (5.50) and Reddick (4.89). His walk rate, GB% and BABIP are all within reasonable range so the performance looks sustainable.

Mason Williams is a top 50 prospect. There are probably only 3 OF prospects I would take ahead of him (Myers, Tavaras, Bradley). He is on par with Yelich (OPS+ of 138 vs 143) and Starling. Williams has performed better than Marisnick / Jackson / Gose.

Hutchinson and Adams are throw ins who won't contribute this year. If the TC's issue is with these two players I can live with just getting Zimmerman and the $ back. The money is in there to even out the salary for this year.

Outside of Skaggs, just isnt getting much. Zimmerman is the best player in the deal.

Adam and Hutchison I like a lot more than Williams and Aguilar. I just feel the deal is won by in every category and it doesnt seem to benefit at all except the savings in 2013. To much is given up for salary cap savings.

I don't get this at all. You guys are preferring a SP who needs TJ surgery over a top 50 prospect (top 5 OF prospect). Would the TC accept the deal if Adam and Hutchinson are removed?
