I am thinking that is a pretty good bet.  I would say what ever deal you see it will include a goalie.  Was just speculating possibly a Vancouver deal as well since they have Schneider ready to go.

I think he's staying in Columbus... Howson (CBJ's GM) has been burned on a number of trades in the last few years (the Carter deal, for one), somebody is gonna hafta blow him away with an offer.

At 7.8 million a year, I'd pass!

Me too but I am sure Howson would have to get Rask + which I dont think (or want) PC to do. They would certainly have the names of Hamilton, Rask, Knight for sure with one of them plus a contributing player and a 1st rounder.

I wouldn't mind Boston offering a package centered around a bigger player such as Krejci as we are heavy at C

Right they would have to pay too much.  I'd rather they plugged in a few small pieces like they did last year with Pev and Kelly instead of giving up a big piece.  I wouldn't mind them dealing Krejci, but the return would have to be good.  Krejci has proven he plays in big games, and I'm confident he'll step up his game in the playoffs.

Does anyone think NJ might deal Parise?  The team is doing horribly financially, missing payments on their stadium, or so I've heard.  I would imagine they'd be hard pressed to sign him.
