Jordan Schafer CF $440,000 2012, 3rd yr 2013, arb 2014, arb 2015, arb 2016

For

Noah Perio 2nd (A) marlins #10 prospect

The Marlins filled a need here by aquiring a CF.  Schafer is young and looks to have a bright future since his trade to the Astros.  He should see plenty of at bats and has the athleticism to swipe a few bags.  We did have to give up on a talented and very young infielder who down the line should be quite productive for the Braves after Uggla is gone.

Sorry for the delayed response gents, I agree to this trade.

I do this trade as Scafher does not fit in my long-term plans. I researched the prospect and I feel he can add depth at a position where I am weak in the minors.
