Detroit/Miami trade

Detroit and Miami have come to the following deal


Detroit sends

C James Wiseman $7.3m RFA
Detroit's 2025 1st and 2nd

To Miami for

SF Jalen Williams $3.2m 2026
C Makur Maker $3.3m 2025


Detroit does this deal to get what we feel is an upgrade at a more of a position of need for us. We have Utah?s 2025 1st so we still have some draft capitol there. Maker will be sent to our Gleague to sit there until his contract is up.

Miami confirms. I absolutely hate dealing Jalen Williams. Hate it. But having Anthony Williams and Austin Reeves, I can afford to deal from my strength at SG to get a potential difference maker at Center where I definitely need a long term upgrade. Adding the first and second and shedding the Maker contract to open a G league spot sets my team up to continue adding talent going forward. Hoping to take the next step next year with a more evenly rounded roster. Thanks @OUDAN and good luck.
