He received an official warning today and we will keep a closer eye on his and all lineups in the near future.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Sounds reasonable but help me understand what the standard is for us moving forward. Given that this is his 2nd formal warning is the rule now 3 strikes and you are out? Is everyone now safe to tank through 2 formal warnings or are we now holding ourselves to a higher standard? If so what does that look like?

I didn't open this can of worms, but now that it is open I think it extremely important to be crystal clear that we all play on a level field with the same set of evenly enforced rules.

Well. here's another one for you from last week. Nobody checked to see why there was an illegal roster. He had 26 players active. After a couple days, he noticed and sent down "illegally" Alexis Lafreniere from the main roster to minors for compliance without posting on ProFSL Transactions.
The penalty for the first person in Backyard to abuse a move from minor to major - major to minor without posting a transaction is:

Roster Violation

Minor League Roster Violations:
Any GM found to be using an AHL player in an illegal manner with be penalized as follows:
1st violation - Lost of that week's match-up & official penalty on roster

Moving a player up and down at free will without posting a move. The irony is the tanking GM is rewarded with a forfeited loss for the period. You can't make this up.

This is a just punishment as most often this is used to move a player up and down the lineup to get more points then allowed but obviously this process was used this time in an illegal manner.
