Veto

I rarely veto trades.

Curry is worth a lot more than this especially when 1 season is being paid. Curry is a top 15 player, closer to top 10.  If Derrick Rose at this point in his career goes for 2 1sts or Redick for a 1st, then Curry is definitely worth a ton more than a late first, 3 late 2nds, and Korkmaz (who isnt worth more than a 2 so really 4 2’s).

 :veto:

As stated above a precedent has been set regarding the value of older players that still ball at a high level in regards to draft picks. Though the high salary is a turnoff and there is injury risk, the reward is also quite great if Curry plays like he has in the past. Curry should at the least receive two 1sts or a good young player in return. My return of Miles Bridges for Julius Randle was another precedent besides the Klay Thompson deal and Derek Rose. The Curry trade for 2nd round picks and a late 1st round in what is a weak draft class amount to a salary dump, which would be understandable, though still lopsided. Throwing in the payment of salary makes this deal even more lopsided than it already was and in veto territory. An more even trade that would still be lopsided, but not vetoable would be adding another 1st round pick or cancelling the payment of salary. Dumping older vets with plenty of value only makes sense if you get something in return, cap space for the bounty of free agency, high draft picks, or a massive salary dump. This trade accomplishes none of those goals thus giving it a veto.

PS - I don't take a veto lightly and have never vetoed a deal in my basketball dynasty league that I run that just finished it's 15th season this year.

Okay clown. Call me a liar lmao. Make a trade that’s halfway decent if you want it to be approved. And btw it’s KLAY. Not sure if you’re dyslexic or what’s going on there. For you to say Klay and Steph are similar in value is asinine. And by the way I’m still laughing at the “as usual mine is the only vetoable trade” so you make terrible, vetoable trades often then huh? I’m still not convinced that you aren’t just running both of these accounts and stacking one team. Earlier in the chat saying “we’ll take the trade” why would you say it like that? Do you answer for the Warriors or do you know he’ll accept because you’re running the team like you run your mouth? I tried to keep it civil and explain in the chat why I vetoed but you couldn’t accept it and had to call me names because you didn’t get your way.

If you think a pick in the late 20’s in a weak draft and 3 picks in the 50’s plus a d-leaguer are worth Steph fully paid then you’re just stupid. No way around it.
