I appreciate that it takes a lot of work and dedication do these updates but if there is a discrepancy between what I post and what you enter I need to know and understand why. Please point to where our standard for rounding is up for any fraction and/or make the appropriate corrections.

Same happened to me with Hichier, Sergachev and Keller. Long run it's only $0.3m but that could come in handy at some point.

I'm assuming given Cory is spreadsheet guy maybe he's using every single hundred, ten and single thousand, hundred, ten, single, and then probably decimal place too for rounding.

Me I only use one place because I'm lazy.

Yep. Salaries are supposed to be nearest $100k and so typical math rounding should take $49,000 (and less) down to zero while $50,000 plus would equal $100k. Yes it's a small amount but I'm here for the free expression of OCD.

My recollection is that the custom in this league has always been to round up to the next $100k including, for example, if you flex waiver someone and you have to eat half the contract.  That said, the only place I could find a "rounding up" concept mentioned in the rules was this passage about how contracts were imported into the league when it was founded:

    Other than prospects all players come in with original deals as of the end of the 10/11 season (6/15/11). Original contract
    values are taken from Hockeybuzz and rounded to the next $100k.


In any case, if a rounding rule could be set and written down we can be consistent going forward.
