I don't see Tkachuk as eligible for LTIR.  Did you mean IR?

Quote
Injured Reserve
Each team will have one Injured Reserve slot.  Players on IR count against the cap, but do not count against the roster size, allowing for teams to add a replacement player via FA or call-up from minors while the injured player is out.  Any player missing games for any type of injury, whether they're day to day or out longterm, is eligible for IR.  Basically, if there's a red flag next to their name on Fantrax, they are eligible.  Once a player on IR is healthy and back to NHL action they may remain on IR until the end of the current season, at which point all IR players who are healthy will be added back to their teams 30 man roster.

Longterm Injured Reserve
Each team will have one Longterm IR slot.  Players on LTIR do not count against the cap.  LTIR is intended for players who are expected be out for an extended period of time: at least 10 games or 24 days.  Once a player on LTIR is healthy and back to NHL action they may remain on LTIR until the end of the current season, at which point all LTIR players who are healthy will be added back to their teams 30 man roster.

Clear as mud Rob. I ran with Basically, if there's a red flag next to their name on Fantrax, they are eligible. But I take it you are looking at intended for players who are expected be out for an extended period of time - In my defence, I was thinking Tkachuk would miss at least 82 games (from my team).

  • Daddy: This 2024 NFL Draft class is better than 90% of every draft ive witnessed since 1980. In NFL LIVE if you arent a top ten team, i strongly urge that you invest in 2024 draft.

  • Daddy: Just know, if you miss time at any point of the year, not just the active season. You have missed a lot. You've probably fallen behind your competition. Ten-Fifteen guys in all three of those leagues dont ever miss any opportunities.
  • Daddy: One more thing. The NFL LIVE waiting list is longer than you see on profsl or fantrax. There are people that know people that want in that league. No pressure on anyone but i cant just hold your franchise while you draft and do nothing else.
  • Daddy: i built College football for you guys that do that. Great scoring system, no trades, set your lineup and go getm! NFL moves too fast for that mentality. Apologies.
