Flyers do this as we really like Lindell. We also feel Bennett and Strome have time to live up to expectations. Couture is good but I really need more depth. Trying to better diversify my lineup.

Tough deal to get on the same page with here.

Lindell was the sticking point... he’s a special talent.

My hope is that Ethan Bear steps up this season to replace him, and I can replenish the cupboards next year with draft picks, as I’m quite full this year in the minors.

I’ve waited 2-3 years now for Bennett and Strome to step up, and they still haven’t. Hope this isn’t the year they do, haha.

Nice to add Couture  on a decent contest for a Center - helps ease the loss of Jeff Carter. I would have went after Malkin, but re-signing him for $10.5m wasn’t in the cards, haha.
