I agree to the trade I get a power bat and a key RP also an SP back. Machado is one of my favourite players and is a reasonable price vs power out put. Pomeranz is also on a cheap deal as well.

Blue Jays agree to deal. In Kershaw, I get the best pitcher of our generation. Pinder is a solid prospect to continue to improve my system.  While I respect Machado's ability, I think he's a punk, but finding a fair trade for him was difficult. Pomeranz is an all star who finally achieved some good consistent production.  Robertson while very good, is amid many trade rumors so he isn't as sure thing going into 2017.  Funny side story, one of my best friends smashed Robertson in high school. He'd take his ass deep before Robertson developed off speed pitches.
