Angels approve.

Getting Perez will help this year but more importantly next year before hitting FA. Reed is a guy I like despite the ugly 7ERA in majors I think he has the potential to be a decent starter and is someone that can contribute now.

It was hard to get rid of Williams and Sisco as they are top OF and C prospects who are not far away from the majors themselves but it's who the braves wanted and cost of doing business. Losing my long term solution at C is not as bad if I have Perez for a year and change. I really needed OF help and Williams is knocking on the door at AAA level but again cost of doing business. This accelerates the Angels timeline a little bit.

Trade is invalid per rules. 

However, if one team puts in a claim on that player, the original team has three choices: let the player go to the claiming team, work out a trade with the claiming team within 48 hours of the claim, or pull the player from waivers and keep him.

Braves Accept

Getting these two prospects Williams and Sisco will really help my chances of competing in the future. Both of these prospects will be playing in the mlb within the next year, and I expect both of them to make an impact.

I was willing to give up Perez as I knew that I would only have 1 year of a cheap contract left on him and that the prospects I could get for him would be worth it. I also was willing to give up Reed as I am not a huge fan of him and already have enough young pitchers
