Cubs accept. After having to re-work this trade, giving up more than I had hoped, both in MLB and specs, but hopefully this can fill my OF holes without having to dip into FA. Marte is a solid OF3 and I'm keeping my fingers crossed Puig can get his act together and make him worth the risk. Thanks for the smooth (re)negotiations. Rockies to confirm when he can.

with fa out there i decided to take a chance and move some players. this trade i moved a very good of in marte and a puig who  i feel is incocetent do to his outbreaks with the lad. im not coffident in keeping him. i added a of bruce and added a very good mi in iglesias and added alot of talent to my minors. i felt i got more tallent then i had to start with

I agree with Flash. Not a fan of this trade but Cubs added just enough fluff to make it passable. Also, the recent acquisition of Brock Holt coupled with acquiring Bruce gives the Rockies 3 OF. I doubt that Holt will qualify @ OF next year but it bought the Rockies some time. Colorado is walking a fine line with his budget between trades and free agency, that alone would have earned my veto.
