St. Louis makes this trade for a few reasons. First it's hard to turn down an opportunity to acquire a player like Tulo. He's a top MI and will make a great addition to my lineup. Second I have a significant amount of depth to deal from at CI and I was also looking to clear some minor league space for the draft and this accomplishes that as well. I like Difo and Nimmo, but felt it was worth it for Tulo.

I agree to the trade i hate to lose the best ss in baseball but i feel what im getting back is way worth the value for him. Im getting alot in return. I added a very young and promising of in both nimo and tucker. I add a very good young 1b in paulson. Im adding a vet 3b in  beltre and adding debth in mi with difo and adding sp in davies im a fan of

St.Louis gets a high reward, albeit high risk MI, premium in this league. In return the Rockies get, at least, two high profile prospects and a moderately priced full time CI who has put up good #'s in the past
