Buffalo wins based on shear number of 1st round picks but I think St. Louis wins based on the snipes in the late rounds.

I really like what Vancouver and Montreal got.  I'm also not against having 4 rounds now that we have additional spots in our minors. I wanted at least 2 other gents on my team from this years prospect pool.

Boo on adding another round.  If you want more picks trade for them... I feel like the picks are devalued enough as it is. Each team already has 6 draft picks each year by default.  Thats enough to replace half your minor league.

The draft picks are devalued and forgotten from 2 weeks after the draft occurs to 1 day before the real NHL draft.  Once you get in that in between window though people get crazy hungry for what they can draft thus you have 10+ trades in 4 days time.  You don't get that much action anytime else.

This is true.  And I'd like to keep it that way by not adding more rounds
