Here are the matchups I am anticipating for the first round. Congrats to everyone on a great season. Sorry that my job and child is "getting in the way" of having all rosters updated all the time but hopefully I can get everything fleshed out before the end of the season roster-wise. Most likely heading into next season (extension deadline) we will need to replace a couple GMs due to inactivity to keep Backyard going strong. This is always the league I enjoy the most and it is purely due to the great members we have!

Placing Rules
- Winnipeg and Detroit will be tied in standings but due to fantasy points Detroit will take the higher seed
- Columbus, Boston and Ottawa will be tied for 8th but Columbus will take the spot due to fantasy points
- All other spots are basically locks unless Ottawa comes back to beat me then I will fall to 4th and Anaheim will take 1st
Some great matchups in the first round.
- Stanley Cup re-match in the first round should be one for the ages
- The underdog Detroit team would can dismantle giants if they are show up against the gritty Flyers who always seem to put up great points
- Edmonton is down to 1 goalie for at least 2 weeks so if Price comes through for Columbus, you could easily see the top seed dethroned early
