I'm not trying to be a stick in the mud here, but adding Olt and Paulino doesn't really improve the trade. Olt used to be a highly thought of prospect and was given a shot as a starter at 3B in 2014. He failed miserably. He did hit 12 HRs, but he was below the Mendoza line and struck out 100 times in 89 games. Paulino is an injury riddled SP who never made it back from his Tommy John surgery, pitched poorly in 4 games in 2014 and spent the rest of the year on the DL. The Red Sox are getting proven CI while the Indians, beyond O'Connor, and maybe Greene, are getting nothing more than roster fodder. The deal is even adding $0.5m to the Indians, a team with a salary cap problem.
