All 2012-13 contracts, including buyouts, will be removed after this extension period and we will be rolling over all contracts into the 2013-14 season! Amnesty buyouts will occur right after this period then trading will open once all amnesty buyouts have been accounted for.

(7/10/13) Sharks general manager Doug Wilson is unsure of Martin Havlat's long-term status with the team. Havlat underwent surgery on his pelvic area at the end of June and will start the season on the long-term injured reserve.

This is a quote I copied and pasted from Fantrax. Now that FA is here...... am I able to put him on IR and free that money to bid on a replacement?

When is the waiver free period ?

Waiver free will be a 2 week period that starts 1 week before the season to 1 week into the season.

Unfortunately as per the rules every year, being able to place a player on IR doesn't open until 1 week into the season.
The Sharks will also not be able to place Havlat on IR until the being on the season as well so it will also not be official that he is on IR until then as well.

Any idea when rosters are going to be updated?  I have to FA's out there, plus some minor signings and my recent trade.  I'm just curious where I'm at.  Thanks!

I'll try and do everything next week on Tuesday afternoon. I still don't have internet at my house because I live in the middle of no where. I have access to internet at the school but that is all really.
Thanks to everyone for being patient though, it has been absolutely brutal for me not keeping this up to date or the standard it should be.
