Colorado trades mainly through the need to seriously rationalise my roster - all three would be potentially cut at arbitration (due to the factor I have limited headroom (in the case of Andrus) alongside feasible other options in respect of the other 2) and therefore I am trying to maximise my position, and return, before next week's arb deadline.

In return I get an MLB ready pitching prospect (rated number 5 in the Bluejay's prospect list) plus two high draft picks to help rebuild my roster going forward.

I am hoping that this clears the veto process as I am in quite a tight position and this trade helps improve my overall situation.

I just saw Sean's note that the Rockies do not actually control the rights to Rosario (traded in March 2013 to the Reds), so we'll need to rework this deal.
