I agree with the trade. It gives me a better bullpen and 2 a cy young candidates in a few years.

I've been weighing several offers for Fernandez over the past few weeks, but this was the kind of offer I was really looking for, "farm system for Fernandez" type of deal. Hate to lose two out of three aces, but getting Eovaldi back was key in keeping up a respectable rotation. Jansen closes games, Sands gives me depth at 1B, and Pederson and Almora were key returns, with Crick, De La Rosa, Webster, and Johnson filling out the farm system.

Im not much of one on vetoing deals but it sure worked out for the Red Sox that their previous deal was vetoed.  I don't think I would move Fernandez for much of anything personally, outside of Trout, Harper or Buxton.

I really don't see why the Dodgers would ever make this trade because it doesn't make sense to me considering their roster but can't argue much that it's not equitable for both teams.
