I appreciate the concern, Pittsburgh, so thank you, and I'll gage the reaction of the league over the next few days to see if it's as bad as some seem to think. Yahoolando- would I be allowed to cancel a pending transaction?

You can't cancel the trade once posted.

Jeez, I hope "Pittsburgh" is going to be so critical when we all start discussing the 5 team mega-trade that no one understands?

With that thing hanging in the balance, I would think you'd be quite a bit less critical of a trade like this.

I think this trade is very even. There's risk on both sides.

Your inability to understand a complex trade doesn't really speak to its equity.  I have integrity and I'm not going to be threatened into not giving an honest opinion.  I won't veto your trade and already said as much.

If you think this trade is even though then you and I should trade some.  I have 20 prospects to trade for Rio Ruiz right now.  PM me.

I didn't say I couldn't understand it, I just don't want to bother to take the time unless it's going to be upheld as even being legal, let alone fair.

I'm not trying to threaten anyone into doing anything, just stating the obvious that if you are going to be so critical of other's deals don't be surprised if it comes back at you.

That's human nature. I'm not trying to be argumentative, just stating the obvious.

Not of the opinion this is the fairest trade, definitely a clear winner. That being said, I understand why the trade is justifiable, so  :iatp:  Although, I would caution Bazinga to look at the point system before any more trades.

I have to  :veto: this trade as well.  I went back and forth on it but Simmons and Fernandez are top 10 at their positions and under team control for a while.

Especially considering :BOS: just got Myers they would have Simmons and Fernandez as well to build around.

Great pry from Boston for Cincy but those young players aren't enough value in my mind for the rebuilding team in Boston.

I approve this trade because both teams have justified their think on why they are making their teams better.

Also, you shouldn't veto because you don't like the deal or that you're 'saving someone from themselves'. Who knows what's going to happen. Simmons can go back to the minors after a sophomore slump and Jose can get TJ surgery and get lost on the doldrums of MLB.  Vetoing is for collusion.
