I want to compete with the A's this year and clear payroll next year, so my interest isn't in prospects.

I recalculated my payroll next year, and with a loss of a lot of players, I will be at about $80m meaning plenty of cap room to extend Butler, Martinez, and possibly Jeter while picking up a couple FA.  Holliday is still on the block though.
