Nick Swisher is still on the block, but his value has gone up.  Needs have changed to a young OF replacement (if there is CI or MI eligibility then that would be great) and a pitcher.  Pittsburgh is no longer looking for MI.

Reds are listening to offers on

C Montero, Jesus, $0.5m (2017) - was signed to a 4 million, 5 year extension in the off-season

Please submit starting offers, I am not looking for "what would it take" because my response will be your first born...so start with a reasonable offer.

Papi and Chipper are also still available as well as all of my prospects...

Needs are OF, MI, SP, and C if Montero is moved

CI Fielder, Prince, $22.5m (2015) - $8m paid this season, $4.5m in 2013
MI Ellis, Mark, $4m (2013)
MI Hill, Aaron, $3m (2014)

OF Brantley, Michael, $0.5m (P-2013)
OF Jennings, Desmond, $0.5m (2017)
SP Kershaw, Clayton, $1.5m (2012)

Really looking to get a large upgrade at any position.  I don't plan on moving everything on this block, just giving teams options so I can make one good trade or two.  Won't pay money on Fielder, please don't ask.  Thank you!

I realize I have been posting a lot of these, so this will be the last one for a while...

Needs - OF, MI, SP

Offering
CI - David Ortiz - Killing the ball at the moment, really don't want to deal him, but if I can fill other needs I would consider it. 5.5 mil for the next four years. Very good price for someone who puts up 3K, even if he might not the last season of the contract. He doesn't seem to be slowing down. So if you are going to argue that point when discussing his value, please do not bother, because to this date any slippage has been a statistical anomaly.

OF Heisey, Chris, $0.5m (P-2013) - I like the guy but I can't deal with Dusty's GD love affair with guys that should be in the majors anymore (see Ryan Ludwick)

OF Snider, Travis, $0.5m (2014) - won't deal for a one year rental

SP Doubront, Felix, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Ross, Tyson, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Prospects
SP Campos, Jose, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Hand, Brad, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Tillman, Chris, $0.5m (P-2012)
CI Wheeler, Ryan, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Eaton, Adam, $0.5m (P-n/a)
CI Yelich, Christian, $0.5m (P-n/a) - won't deal for a one year rental

Please PM any inquiries...thank you

  • Jwalkerjr88: Idk if anyone remembers the 2021 class but it was weak on offense outside or the top 10-15. I dont regret the deal just learned and move on. As long as you have assets, you can mold your build how you want. Picks are usually the most valuable asset because most gms want in on a draft.
