What regulars are scoring in the red for you?
« on: April 23, 2010, 03:05:24 PM »
For the season so far...
Brandon Wood: -262
Adam Jones: -82
Daniel McCutchen: -11
Aaron Hill: -8 (to be fair, he just came back from injury, so this is based on going 1/8 with a walk, one assist, and two putouts)

As bad as D-Cutch has been, the real killer has been Brandon Wood.  I traded a good nickel for him last year, so I won't bail on him any time soon.

I read a Buy Low list earlier today, it included over 1/3 of my offense.  Aramis Ramirez, Adam Dunn, Yunel Escobar, and Kurt Suzuki.  Dunn at least is an OP machine.  I am confident they get it going soon.

My highest scorer is Jim Edmonds...Hamilton finally started hitting the ball, Theriot has been touch and go, and Lind has no one on base in front of him. And Helton is Helton, what you see is what you get, but at least he is consistent.

The only two guys that I have in the red are Pedro Feliz (-44) and Alex Gordon (-15). I am not worried about gordon because he only has 10 AB's under belt. Underperforming for me is Juan Rivera, need him to pick it up. Andy Pettitte and Jose Guillen are great surprises this year.

Regarding Lind, it's not like RBIs matter in this league.  Although, the added pressure on the opposing pitcher would help Adam.

I spent $12m bonus on Avila just so he could be cheap next year, but here is what I have so far from him... -116 points!  :soapbox:  Mr. Lou Marson isn't much better with -62 points.  What a horrible platoon.
