Giants and BlueJays in blockbuster mode

BlueJays send
Francisco Liriano: $4,300,000{2012} salary to be paid by BlueJays
Casey Janssen: $1,095,000{2012}
Jose Lopez: $500,000{2012}
Starlin Castro: $440,000{2012}, 3rd year{2013}, ARB{2014}, ARB{2015}, ARB{2016}
in exchange for
Dylan Bundy
Daniel Vogelbach
Kosuke Fukudome: $500,000{2012}
Adam Kennedy: $500,000{2012}
Dylan Bundy is a possible staff anchor and one of the most polished HS arms to be drafted in years. He should be a very fast riser and a top notch pitcher from day one in the majors. Vogelbach has a huge hammer and the only question in his game is wether he can keep his weight under control. Giving up Starlin is difficult but for a pitcher of Bundy's caliber, I'll do it 7 days a week and twice on sunday. Solidify the future of another team's infield isn't an easy move to make but receiving the top end of that team's draft in 2 consecutive years makes it too tempting to not do. Got luck in the playoff hunt Sportsfan.

Giants confirm.
Parting with Bundy is very difficult, to say the least. But, coupled with yesterday's trade with the Jays, this moves gives me a fighting chance to do some damage this year and hopefully in the playoffs, so in for a penny, in for a pound. With Starlin, being only 22 and under team control for several years, having the SS position cemented in for awhile, along with the trade for Hill yesterday, my middle infield just got a whole lot better.
With the acquisition of Liariano and Jannsen, I get a sorely needed body at SP, and a closer to finish the year, until hopefully Wilson returns next year or Hembree moves up. Lopez give me some backup if needed. Moving Fukudome and Kennedy keeps me under the 40 man roster limit, and both were basically ineffective all year.

Depends on the team. Each one has something different. G, C, D, Crap we need wingers, i prefer guys that play both LW/RW. Im looking to improve. Thats always what im looking for. But to do so in a way that my partner also improves.

You can build a dominant team without dominating every trade or even any trade. Doesn't matter what you give up if you get what you see as a key piece.

It was dallas. I think he missed the playoffs that year. Then used the draft picks on the 2021 class. Every pick was the 32nd pick (dont remembee what the other 1st became)
Yesterday

Jwalkerjr88
:
Idk if anyone remembers the 2021 class but it was weak on offense outside or the top 10-15. I dont regret the deal just learned and move on. As long as you have assets, you can mold your build how you want. Picks are usually the most valuable asset because most gms want in on a draft.
