error: contract length of a.pietrangelo

Alex Pietrangelo's contract was listed as (the last version i have cut and saved from the end of the season):

Alex Pietrangelo, $2.8m (P-2012)


It currently shows a contract term of "2011-2012" and causes me to lose 1 year at his current value.

Can EC look into this please.

P2012 means 2011-12, I believe they were posted wrong to beginning the league as players like Skinner, Eberle, Fowler, all should of had 1 more year in their entry level contracts but also were P 2012

2011-12 EC confirmed P-2012 = 2012-2013 during the 2011 off-season.

i'm sure it was addressed publicly and if so this would be a rule change that impacts my budget.

i wonder if any anyone else is affected by this?

i will have to disagree drew, my reason being this franchise NHL league started in 2010-11... 2years ago. all entry/prospect contracts were likely set at the maximum 3yrs (especially true for stud prospects like skinner and my guy, pietrangelo).

therefore the definition of P-2012 should actually equal a 3 yr contract (starting in 2010-11 expiring in 2012-13).

joeshmoe is still around as Boston's GM and given he established these rules, i think he should provide some feedback here.

also, when i joined the league last July, hockeyfreak6000 confirmed P-2012 = "expires in 2012-2013" ... that impacted the way i traded and who i traded for including T.Hamonic, Z.Smith and Pietrangelo. given hf6k is around again, he should also be able to validate this contract matter.

I am not arguing that they should be three years but that I believe they were only for some reason set to two years. Others have signed players that way and Peter never said any different. Last year I signed both karlsson and Fowler and they were both p-2011. So something is wrong either way.
