I do this deal to add better depth on my rw and d. Enroth was expendible as I fully expect matt hackett to play the same roll in minnesota as enroth does in buffalo next season. Although I hate to send off the potential of adam abd kassian, but I would rather have a sure thing in williams and larsen. Columbus also sends his 2nd because I highly doubt I will resign larsen, as he is due a 2m raise. Thanks for the negotiations cbj

Jackets agree

The remaking of the Jackets continues.  Hate to trade OEL, but our goal tending had to be addressed.  With Enroth, worst case is he backs up Miller again, but maybe he finds himself dealt and lands a full time job.  Either way, with Enroth and Elliott I now have some goal tending along side Price.  We also get the potential of Adam and Kassian, and are able to move the salary of Williams to give us more flexibility moving forward as we continue to remake this team.  Lose my 2nd, but pick up 2 picks coming back to help restock the Lake Erie Monsters.
