Joe Saunders - $0.5 - P - 2009
Jorge Sosa - $0.5 - 2009
Tim Stauffer - $0.5 - 2009

The Angels will also be tagging the following player as a Restricted Free Agent:

Matt Holliday $11.5 - 2009

After the bidding has ended on this player during the 2010 free agency period, the Angels will decide if they wish to match the winning bid's offer to a one year contract.

Well, just to let you know - you can't change your mind on releasing players.  I guess Scott Boras is looking for a huge payday for Holliday?  He'll be the biggest free agent this winter for sure.

Yup, definintely release those players, they will not be resigned.

And I was thinking that the Cardinals were gonna give Holliday a huge payday, but after that embarrassment in the playoffs, he might have just been a rental. :-S
