So Montreal's GM discovered a roster error and noticed Tatar shouldn't be on their Fantrax roster since they should've been dropped during the August rollover.

Tatar will be set free retroactive to October 12th and is immediately a FREE AGENT!

WHY was he not resigned for Montreal Canadiens in August 2016?
He was ranked 12th in 2014-15 and would cost 6.2m annually. In hindsight, we made the right call since his production this year sucks for anyone earning 6.2m.

Actually what really happened was Tatar was caught breaking some key team rules and was suspended but instead of accepting his suspension and demotion to the minors he demanded his release.

hmmmmm,  not really cool to make it retroactive... as other players could have been played in that spot instead of Tatar.  Are you willing to go back and retroactively put a active LW back in his place on the roster?

Or at the very least ,could you go and put adam lowry into the active LW spot for today since you dropped tatar after the roster lock time.

sure.  I am just saying if tatar was never supposed to be on the team ,  adam lowry should have been in that LW spot that he was in.
